On to New Shores…

NewShore Solutions traces its roots back to the humble beginnings of its founder, Heiko Pohland, in former East Germany. Raised with a can-do attitude and a strong belief in hard work, honesty, and dedication, Heiko’s upbringing instilled in him the values of resilience and perseverance. The pivotal moment of the fall of the inner-German border in 1989 fueled his determination to overcome barriers and explore new horizons.

Driven by a desire to experience diverse cultures and embrace new challenges, Heiko embarked on a journey of global exploration, leveraging the newfound freedom of the post-1989 era. His adventurous spirit eventually led him to relocate to Singapore in 2004, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career and personal growth.

Over the years in Asia, Heiko has proven himself in various leadership roles in small, mid-sized and large multinational companies across diverse sectors such as Maritime, Energy, Offshore, and Logistics. His experiences have endowed him with a deep understanding of both Western and Eastern perspectives, enriching his leadership approach with insights from different cultural contexts.

In 2021, drawing upon his wealth of experience and insights gained from his journey, Heiko founded NewShore Solutions. Rooted in a philosophy of integrity and excellence, NewShore Solutions is committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that bridge the gap between East and West, making ends meet, fostering collaboration, and driving sustainable growth in an ever-evolving global landscape.
